Zuhair Murad in the Haute Couture Collection has widely showcased the historical and royal style during the aristocratic era in Russia. The aristocratic opulence of the dresses designed are a recollection of ancient Aztec-esque motifs (Aztec prints are native to Mexican Americans) and well we can say the regal, magnificent Boyar styled jackets have been the highlight of this #HauteCouture collection. I watched the fall winter 2018/2019 by #ZuhairMurad designer video on his youtube channel. The lustrous fall collection had glamorous teepee gown, beaded tunics, skirts, jumpsuits. The designer's collection looked balance with oxblood, blue, black, gray, sage green coloured dresses. Czarinas walked in A line gowns rendered in gold, silk and brocade gowns and the endless floor sweeping cape with beaded uniform hairstyle stole the show.
“Most of the time, I am inspired by the past, and this is a kind of an homage and respect to the people who left us a very beautiful heritage of art, craftsmanship, and design.”
The designer has styled his art in an historic fashion of Boyar jackets in velvet worn by the Russian royals during the Czar reign. Murad has used military collar in his collection that symbolises women power, victory and courage in the 21st century. The dress coat in Satin gave us a flashback of an epancha except it was not tied with bow at the neck. The intrinsic design patterns of beaded tunic sequins added to the grandiose collection.
POCKETS? YES!
We all love dresses with pockets undoubtedly obsessed with it. How cool is it wear a party gown with a floor sweeping cape, walking like a princess, carrying that smile of oh-yes-my-dress-has-pockets! I am drooling over the gowns with pockets. WOW!

Isn't it like playing with fire when layering dark colours together and the Lebanese designer has played it very well to say. Embossing the red thread on the black and black on red, burgundy on red, complimenting the Boyar prints. Fashion is such an adventure you take risk only to end up being the best. Well he's proven it. Let's Paint The Town Oxblood
I have fallen in love with the beautiful oxblood sequins and gowns. Who wouldn't want to stand out in an oxblood ensemble? The intricate design of royal motifs on jumpsuits, long sheath dress, sequins is a great example of mixing traditional and modern form.

Black, Black, Style Hack
With sheer brilliance and passion for royal motifs, the designer with his marvellous creation of black dresses has left us gobsmacked. They look like dream dresses when I looked at the jumpsuit and the long strapless satin dress. Oh thy beauty, the embroidery is breathtaking on the skirt. Take bow people, because the designer has used matte pearl and silk embroidery in his ball gown.

Green, How About Sage Green?
The designer is all game to win our hearts and already he has. Sage green is not a dull colour, his sage green gowns are the best testament for the misconception. To brighten up the look of the ensemble he used embroidery golden, floral motifs on satin.

Long Live The Queen
The stage lights went off and there she enters with her power, confidence and beauty like a magic sauntering toward us, get us goosebumps. It is a royal wedding dress adorned with a long cape with silver embroidery on satin gown.
FAVOURITE SEQUIN DRESS
I adore the minute details of the sequins beautifully beaded in this mini dress. A line are my forever type of dresses it is an elegant style of wearing just one piece of dress and it looks stunning. I am in awe of the military collar, oh you beauty, look at the genius work! The velvet belt at the waist gives a princess look who is ready for a ball. Yeah, ball!
Blue Took My Blues Away
The ravishing Mini teepee Ballerina dress in celadon blue jewels shows the exquisite delicacy of the naive princess ballerina. The crystals lined at the hemline of the dress makes it all the more pretty. How about a pair of dangling diamond earrings with this dress? Out of the world, right!
The blue long sheath strapless dress with a blue chiffon long cape is breathtaking. The meticulous silver kaki embroidery on the heart shaped dress adds to the richness of the couture collection.
CELEBRATING THE HISTORY
Zuhair Murad's couture celebrated the luxury of royal Russians by styling aztec prints, golden and silver embroidery adorned with crystals and jewels, and definitely the quintessential faberge motifs on his pieces of art.
