NAKITA SINGH
The designer's collection in warm earthy colours are in parallel with the nature around us. With leaf motifs on the fabrics is a brillant touch up to compliment the earth. I feel light when I see her collection, imagine what wearing it would be like, BLISS! (Ever heard of a Khadi Bomber Jacket, Click on the last picture)
SOUMODEEP DUTTA
Soumodeep Dutta’s W/F’18 collection ‘The Circles of Wisdom’ is presented through the handlooms from Odisha and Bengal in Ikat motifs and Kantha embroidery in grey and black palette.
TAHWEAVE
‘Unchartered’ by Tahweave in the lakme fashion week seems like the designers through their line are expressing one's freedom to style clothes without regulation. The hand-woven fabric collection looks pretty in the pastel colours makes it wearable anywhere. Just wear it and you are in the limelight, is what 'Unchartered' is all about.
JAYANTI REDDY
Jayanti Reddy’s W/F’18 collection 'The Twilight Zone' (Noor) is a dream sequence of ensembles gently spurting out the magic before the night begins.
NUPUR KANOI
Nupur Kanoi's describes 'Protea' as common yet unusual bloom of Cape Town, a city set against a multicultural backdrop with large European and Indian settlements. The collection features vibrant and intricate glass beadwork in geometric floral patterns paired with native botanical prints. Oooo #bohemianvibes
PUNIT BALANA
Punit Balana’s collection ‘Gulabi Chowk’ is all about the being stylish, chic and comfortable in the hand-block prints and silhouettes alongside the carrying the breathtaking creativity of the designer.
AGAMI
NEHA AGARWAL
Agami by Neha Agarwal's collection ‘Pushtaini’ inspired by the age old art of Madhubani through Zardozi embroidery in contemporary patterns also decorating with the aztec beadwork flowers. Look at the mesmerising wedding collection by the designer.
LABEL RITU KUMAR
Ritu Kumar needs no introduction! Label Ritu Kumar’s theme ‘Native Spirit’ is a combination of tribal art from Native America carrying on the romance of the modern style with high spirit. I would say #thatsthespirit!
SIDDHESH CHAUHAN
Siddhesh Chauhan's fall-winter 2018 'Samurai' portrays Samurai in a contemporary way with surface ornamentation techniques and asymmetrical silhouettes. The designer has set goals for men's wear in the upcoming festive season. Male models strutting down the runway with attitude, strength and showcasing the power of love has been one of the best highlights at the Lakme Fashion Week 2018. I am drolling over this collection!
DISHA PATIL
Disha Patil's collection seems a fairytale wedding with cape sleeve/off-shoulder top and embellished lehenga. Are the braidmaids ready to rock some music with the designers couture collection. Beautiful!
MISHRU
Mishru's 'Supernova' is a stargazing colleciton that blends Indian elements and the galaxy. Mishru's fascinating collection celebrates the passion and achievements of today's women. Most interesting feature I absolutely loved is the velvet appliqué on the handmade ensemble being appliquè in trend the designer has rightfully chosen to accentuate in her collection. #Super
