The third day of the #LFWwf18 was full of variety from European style, Royal Indian style, traditional embroidery to the theatre art alongside keeping up with the trend of appliquè fashion, denim jackets and the insane bomber jackets.
MOHAMMAD MAZHAR
The designer's collection was inspired by the 'Rafugar', the embroiderers and the collection embraced the work of the Rafugar(s) and the meticulous work of embroideries on the red, black and white colour palette.

ARMAAN RANDHAWA
So far my absolute favourite collection of the Lakmè Fashion Week. The collection had an immense sense of quirkiness to this edgy art complimenting the historical style of heavy embroidery and is a tribute to legendary British Fashion designer Lee Alexander McQueen.
Armaan Randhawa's collection is got everything in it. It believes in edgy artwork and boxy fits. We all are given a piece of advice to not put all the eggs in one basket, well I would all the Armaan Randhawa's denim jackets, string dress, trench coat in one huge bag.
1. Denim, Denim where my heart's in!
2. Geranium Panel denim jacket paired with bell bottom with long boxy shirt rendered in Japanese thread details with tie belts. (second model) Hasn't this designer given us Denim goals and who would've on earth thought of a Geranium colour for a denim. Take a bow! The first model is wearing a minimal shirt boxy kurta and boxy trouser in the form of maroon love with magnificent lip artwork.
3. The designer's collection have used appliqué style in the form of Mughal motifs like flowers on the boxy overcoat with resham details. Boxy jackets were a Alexander's style that the designer is showcasing in his collection. I am currently obsessed with the cream string dress that gives attitude feels. Aaahaa!
4. The collection is energetic and colourful with intricate details in Resham. A boxy black kaftan dress with tie belts detail and the Blue bomber jacket in Resham details on the flower with white string dress is total success total hit. Will I ever stop my obsession over this bomber jacket? This collection has certainly dropped a Bomb in the #LFWwf18
5. 'Twin queen' is tribute collection to the late designer Alexander McQueen. A sweatshirt over a string dress and heavy embroidered silhouettes, I am falling, falling, falling in love with this collection.

GENDERBENDER
The show was inspired by ‘Behrupiya’ – an Impressionist in the traditional performing arts of the south-east asian countries India, Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh. The dark and earthy collection features merino wool with drapes and patterns that suggest characteristics of an ever-changing identity.
This collection is peek into the history world where stories were delivered through a form a expression setting a new culture among the theatre folk.

The pot plant collection comprises of easy separates and coordinates free of gender norms. Cotton, Khadi and Chanderi blends are accentuated with clamp dyeing, Bandhani and hand-print to create clothes that are fuss free.
These easy-to-wear separates really make good formals especially when one is choosey in wearing a type of dress at your workplace, pot plant seems to have a solution.

Bobo Calcutta collection is a collage of individual choices of gender, sexuality and love, a ludicrous legacy.

Bloni is a gender neutral line that spreads awareness by being sustainable, and eliminating plastic as we are for the eco-system, for the ocean and for the Mother Nature! “Neutral Human” symbolises the wrath of all the atrocities experienced by humans due to biological, cultural and aesthetic differences.

NACHIKET BARVE
Nachiket Barve is one of my favourite bridal designers. R-Elan presents Nachiket Barve's 'Millennial Maharani' W/F'18 collection which takes inspiration from the globe trotting Indian Royalty of the 20’s and 30’s with a fusing Royalty in the Millennial.

KARTIKEYA, MISFIT PANDA
Kartikeya's W/F'18 collection 'Heroine of the Opera' presents the European opera culture in the late 1700s through grand silhouettes, lux fabrixs and deep hues. The collection at Lakmé Fashion Week also showcased ornate footwear by Misfit Panda that takes inspiration from the Baroque Era and I personally love European style so Kartikeya's collection is my another favourite from the day of the #LFWwf18. We see the Baroque style in the new versace's tribute collection too. Guess, Baroque fashion is in full swing!
